Unlike what the English language dictates, Silence is not
always golden, and silence most definitely is not a sign of agreement always. A
pause can be pregnant, eerie and uncomfortable.
Silence can be cruel if all you
want to hear is a sound; does not matter what sound it is; but just a sound of
anyone or anything.
It can be mournful and deafening if you know all is lost and
yet you have to fight on, just for the sake of it.
On the other hand, if you accept this silence as a part of
your life, as your friend, you are not lonely anymore, and then the silence
becomes profound, deep and eloquent…
